Section 2
1–5. Homage and moral profession
Offer homage to Ahura Mazda, the Amesha Spentas, the Fravashis, Mithra, the Sun, the living creation, Zarathushtra, and the entire righteous creation. Praise good thoughts, good words, and good deeds; reject their evil opposites. Offer thought, word, action, being, and life to the good powers.

6–7. The Sun and Mithra
Honor the immortal, radiant, swift-horsed Sun and Mithra of true speech—wide-seeing, ever watchful, lord of the countries and helper of the truthful.

8–9. Stars, wisdom, and the two worlds
Honor Tishtrya, Vanant, the ordered sky, boundless time, beneficent wind, upright wisdom, the good religion, the path to the good state, the righteous Yazatas of the spiritual and material worlds, one’s own soul, and one’s Fravashi.
Section 5
10. Profession and dedication
Profess the Mazdayasnian faith, recite the correct Gah dedication, and offer worship and praise to the immortal, radiant, swift-horsed Sun.
Section 6
11. Glory distributed to the earth
When the Sun gives warmth, the spiritual Yazatas gather its glory and distribute it to the earth for the furtherance of the world and embodied life of Asha.
Section 7
12. Purification through sunrise
When the Sun rises, purification comes to the earth, flowing waters, wells, seas, standing waters, and the righteous creation of the Beneficent Spirit.
Section 8
13. The necessity of light
If the Sun did not rise, destructive powers would overrun the seven regions, and the spiritual Yazatas would find no stable support in the material world.

14. Resistance to darkness
The one who honors the radiant Sun stands against darkness, destructive powers, theft, violence, sorcery, and creeping death; in doing so, that person honors Ahura Mazda, the Amesha Spentas, the soul, and the righteous powers of both worlds.

15–17. Mithra, friendship, and offering
Honor Mithra’s watchfulness and the best friendship—the harmony of Moon and Sun. Offer worship through truthful speech and right action, and bless the sacrifice to the radiant Sun.

18–19. Blessing and conclusion
Ask for radiance, healing, help, merit, and the increase of the good Mazdayasnian religion. Honor the Creator, the religion of Zarathushtra, the righteous waters, good plants, and the immortal Sun.

The Asha understanding
The Sun is a created sign of Asha. Its regular rising, universal light, and exposure of hidden things become an ethical lesson: truth must be visible, dependable, and life-giving.
